When you fit in... you disappear!

Today I came across an "abandoned" shirt in my wardrobe!

I've used to wear it for the bed night time a couple of times but completely forgot about it:



For my surprise, for the first time, I've noticed the quote on the shirt:

A Tetris Painting and the Quote: "When You Fit In... You Disappear".

Despite a casual shirt and a casual quote, the profundity of this sentence is amazing.

If you take the time to reflect on it, we really tend to disappear in the crowd once we so-called "fit in"! 

Exactly like when the blocks "fit in" and match the Tetris line.

This way it begs us to reconsider... Do we really want to fit in... just to disappear?

Or we want to live and follow our unique lives and achieve whichever dreams, goals, and aspirations we look for? Not really worrying with HAVING TO FIT IN part...

Despite not being that religious it reminded me of this bible quote:
When young we've used to joke: Be Hot or be Cold just don't be lukewarm if not I spit you out.

I discover now that it came from Bible's Revelations.

Nevertheless, it matches the message.

Be Hot or Be could never minding to fit in...

... and you will avoid disappearing...

...and most importantly: being spit out!!!

Isso ocorre porque há muitos padrões no mercado. Existe uma equivalência aproximada entre elas, mas as usuais estão em Polegadas Inglesas x BWG, JP x LPP e ainda o padrão métrico oficial, mm x mm. Entenda o que significam estas siglas: Polegadas Inglesas: multiplique o número correspondente por 25,4 para ter o comprimento em mm. BWG (Birmingham Wire Gauge) e JP (Jauge de Paris): são tabelas próprias que indicam o diâmetro do prego. LPP (Linhas Por Polegadas Portuguesas): multiplique o número correspondente por 2,3 para ter o comprimento em mm.     Hoje assisti a um filme chamado REPOMAN - O Resgate de órgãos ou REPOSSESSION. Esse filme é de 2010 e engraçado como já fazem 4 anos, alguém me disse que precisava assistir a esse filme.... Independente das críticas positivas ou negativas, da trama um tanto previsível, e da falto de alguns artifícios hollywoodianos típicos, o que mais me chamou atenção e me fez não parar de pensar nesse filme (até o ponto de escrever esse blog depois de tanto tempo... :) é o fato da FRAGILIDADE HUMANA!  Como somos frágeis! Como não nos damos conta disso até perdermos um membro, ou ficarmos doentes ou, como no filme mostra: perdermos um órgão!  Um órgão!!!! Apenas 1 órgão!!!! e toda nossa vida vai por água abaixo!
