Isso ocorre porque há muitos padrões no mercado. Existe uma equivalência aproximada entre elas, mas as usuais estão em Polegadas Inglesas x BWG, JP x LPP e ainda o padrão métrico oficial, mm x mm. Entenda o que significam estas siglas: Polegadas Inglesas: multiplique o número correspondente por 25,4 para ter o comprimento em mm. BWG (Birmingham Wire Gauge) e JP (Jauge de Paris): são tabelas próprias que indicam o diâmetro do prego.     Hoje assisti a um filme chamado REPOMAN - O Resgate de órgãos ou REPOSSESSION. Esse filme é de 2010 e engraçado como já fazem 4 anos, alguém me disse que precisava assistir a esse filme.... Independente das críticas positivas ou negativas, da trama um tanto previsível, e da falto de alguns artifícios hollywoodianos típicos, o que mais me chamou atenção e me fez não parar de pensar nesse filme (até o ponto de escrever esse blog depois de tanto tempo... :) é o fato da FRAGILIDADE HUMANA!  Como somos frágeis!
