Isso ocorre porque há muitos padrões no mercado. Existe uma equivalência aproximada entre elas, mas as usuais estão em Polegadas Inglesas x BWG, JP x LPP e ainda o padrão métrico oficial, mm x mm. Entenda o que significam estas siglas: Polegadas Inglesas: multiplique o número correspondente por 25,4 para ter o comprimento em mm. BWG (Birmingham Wire Gauge) e JP (Jauge de Paris): são tabelas próprias que indicam o diâmetro do prego.   The Oldest known musical melody performed by the very talented Michael Levy on the Lyre. This ancient musical fragment dates back to 1400 B.C.E. and was discovered in the 1950's in Ugarit, Syria.
